Recipe – Slow Cooker Green Beans (with Bacon)!

Here’s a recipe for green beans that makes a wonderful side dish for any occasion and you cook them in a crockpot. Try making a big batch on the weekend and serving them with a couple of different meals throughout the week. You’ll be thanking yourself!

Slow Cooker Green Beans (with Bacon!)

Ingredients

  • 3 cans of green beans or 3 (16 oz) packages frozen green beans, thawed or about 2 pounds fresh green beans
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c butter, melted
  • 1 (12 oz) package bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Instructions

  • Put green beans in a slow cooker.
  • Dumb everything else into the slow cooker.
  • Mix it all up.
  • Cover. Cook for 2-3 hours on low.
  • Serve it up.

    Do you drain your beans?

      Yes! I’ve done it with canned drained beans and frozen before. I know frozen will add som water because of the ice, but it’s still great!
