Classic homemade apple crisp with a delicious oatmeal topping

Crisp:
- 6-7 cups peeled apples (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons water
Topping:
- 1 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup melted butter
Mix the topping ingredients together.
Dump the crisp ingredients together into a 9x13 pan. Mix.
Cover with the topping.
Bake for 45 minutes in a pre-heated 350°F oven.
Serve warm (but not too hot) and preferably with vanilla ice cream on top.
