- 2-3 large bell peppers (any color you want) sliced fajita-style
- 1 large sweet onion sliced fajita-style
- 1 tsp. garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb. Italian sausage bite-sized slices
- 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2-3 cups of your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb. cooked pasta or hoagie buns for serving
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a 9×13 pan, mix together sliced peppers, onions, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano.
Add sausage sliced on top of the vegetable mixture.
Bake for about 40 minutes or until vegetables are soft.
Add the spaghetti sauce and stir it into the sausage, peppers, and onions until fully combined.
Bake for another 15 minutes.
Serve over cooked pasta or in hoagie buns for sandwiches.
Serve!
