Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 4.5 ounce package of instant milk chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Filling:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Also needed:

  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 can of milk chocolate frosting

Instructions

  • Grease and flour two 9 inch cake pans. (8 inch will also work, but then don’t use all of the cake batter – your pans will overflow!)
  • Blend cake ingredients 4 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Put chocolate chips into batter and stir around.
  • Pour batter; 1/2 each into one of the cake pans. Don’t worry if it’s thick – that’s okay!
  • Make your filling at the same time, in a separate bowl and keep til later.
  • Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean from center of cake (about 35-40 minutes). Cool.
  • Put filling between the two layers.
  • Frost with milk chocolate frosting.
  • Enjoy with milk or vanilla ice cream!
