Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. steak of choice thinly sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • Sliced pepperoncini optional
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine all the spices and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add avocado oil, then pepper and onions and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the steak and spices and stir to evenly coat the meat and veggies.
  • Sauté until cooked through, then remove from heat.
  • Preheat broiler on oven.
  • Lay your hoagies out on a baking sheet and stuff with steak and veggies mixture.
  • Top with cheese, then broil for several minutes until cheese reaches desired melty-ness. Watch closely to avoid burning the bread.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
