You and your friends have 60 minutes to escape a locked room full of clues, secrets and puzzles. Do you think you could do it? I recently visited Entrap Games in Omaha with my fellow blogger friends, both named Lisa and had a blast.
We were locked in the ‘Off Limits’ room at Entrap games. When you enter it looks just like a normal room, but as you explore, you will find clues, secrets and even secret passageways. I can’t tell you too much (I don’t want to spoil the surprises), but I was shocked with what we uncovered. You will discover all the dark and twisted secrets of the room’s owner.
The three of us made it all the way to the LAST clue and got stuck. I am still proud of us because it was tough and required critical thinking and attention to detail. It also required a little bit of math and puzzle solving, so it’s best if you have a team that can work together.
I really liked that the staff watches and listens as you figure out the room and if you get really stuck, they will share a quick clue on the monitor. That helped us move along the game and find the secret passageways, which was my favorite part.
Entrap Games is exciting, fun and takes a team to figure out how to escape. Worried that you can’t leave for an hour? Don’t be. You can easily leave with the click of a button at any time or if you need a restroom break. But honestly, the hour goes by quickly and before you know it you will be down to the last five minutes.
Entrap Games is appropriate for adults and would make a great double date night with your spouse and friends. The escape rooms would also be an excellent corporate team building activity. They currently have two rooms to escape, ‘Off Limits’ (the room we did) and ‘The Heist’. A third room, ‘Ransom’, will be opening soon. You can read more about these rooms on their website.
