Once again, I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of fruit from The Fruit Club! (Here is my review from November.) This month I received Red Navel oranges, more commonly know as Cara Cara, and they are absolutely delicious. The inside of these oranges is pink and the flavor is sweet and perfect!
If you haven’t tried The Fruit Club yet, I highly recommend it! Since this fruit is picked fresh and delivered immediately, you do have to be flexible with pick up times. This month the truck was delayed a few hours, but luckily, I had a friend picking up her oranges, so she grabbed my box as well. If you can’t make the delivery time, you can contact the coordinators and they will work with you. It’s a great way to get fresh quality fruit!
For January, The Fruit Club is offering Ruby Red Grapefruit and The Honeybell. The Honeybell is a hybrid of a grapefruit and tangerine, and it is as sweet as honey.
