Gordmans is close to my home in Bellevue, but I’ve only shopped there once before my recent shopping spree. I’ve heard their prices are less than traditional department stores, so I challenged myself to see what I could get with my $25 gift card. My goal was to purchase a new shirt for the fall semester of teaching. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to purchase a new work shirt, a Huskers t-shirt, a pair of super cute sandals AND still donate a dollar to the No Place for Hate campaign for only $24.84! Gordmans always has great coupons and I used a 15% off a single item coupon to decrease my cost for this purchase.

Gordmans has teamed up with Anti-Defamation League to help fight bullying and prejudice in schools and communities, a campaign called ‘No Place for Hate’. To contribute to this great cause simply purchase a $1 helping hand at the register through the month of August. You will be able to write your name on the hand for the store to display. This is a wonderful cause that and every single dollar makes a difference.

While I was shopping Gordmans, I noticed lots of awesome deals. I almost purchased a talking Uncle Si head for only $4 on clearance, but had no idea what I would do with it. I spotted Dickies brand backpacks for only $12.99, kid’s clothes at reasonable prices, a Husker section of cute clothing and lots of home decor and kitchen items. What I loved was that many of the items were super colorful and fun! My eight-year old daughter, a self-proclaimed fashionista, was in love with kid’s clothing and especially the shoes! She really tried to convince me to get her a pink fuzzy couch too. So many cute choices! If I was still back to school shopping for my kids, Gordmans would be a perfect stop to save money on essentials!
