Have you heard? The popular Broadway show, Kinky Boots, with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper is coming to Omaha October 20-25! This show just opened on Broadway April 4, 2013, but already took home six Tony® Awards, a Grammy® Award for Best Musical Album and many other accolades.
Kinky Boots is an inspiring show that shares a positive message about being yourself and accepting others for who they are! Their message is: When you change your mind about someone, you can change your world. I’m excited that Kinky Boots will kick off Omaha Performing Arts 2015/2016 Broadway season and it’s a show you won’t want to miss.

“Inspired by true events, KINKY BOOTS takes you from a gentlemen’s shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family business of Price & Son. With the factory’s future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.”
