Anyone growing up in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s has probably seen the 1987 movie of Dirty Dancing and probably more than just once. Who can forget the classic love story of Johnny and Baby at Kellerman’s camp?
And, women from my generation know what it means when you say ‘Nobody puts baby in the corner.’
Now, Dirty Dancing is a live broadway musical and it’s coming to Omaha. The teenage girl inside me is squealing with excitement!
Back in the day, we had Dirty Dancing on VHS and my mom and I watched it so many times we eventually wore it out. I read online a VHS lasts for about 50 plays, so that’s alot of Dirty Dancing! When I asked mom if she wanted to have a girl’s night out and see Dirty Dancing it was a resounding YES!
This is definitely one of those shows to invite your friends and plan a full girl’s night out! Grab dinner at one of the amazing downtown restaurants and head to the Orpheum for an evening of fun.
