Yesterday, I attended Disney Live with my 7 year old daughter, 5 year old son and a friend’s 4 year old daughter, thanks to free tickets from US Family Guide. We absolutely loved it!

It was held at Omaha Civic Auditorium in downtown Omaha. Our seats were on the main level and we could see the entire show clearly.

There were three classic fairy tales: Snow White & The Seven Dwarves, Cinderella and Beauty & the Beast. The stories were narrated by Disney’s classic characters: Mickey Mouse, Minny Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Each of the three fairy tales was a quick synopsis of the tale with a few of the popular songs from each Disney movie. Portions of the show included audience participation, which the children really enjoyed. The costumes and visual effects were extremely detailed and amazing.

The end was spectatular with all the characters and princesses coming to stage and confetti was released onto the main seating area. All three of the children that attended with me sat quietly for the entire 1 1/2 hour show completely absorbed by Disney Live! My daughter was fascinated by the quick costume changes and beautiful dresses. My son was a little scared at some scenes, but really enjoyed the live action. My friend’s daughter didn’t say a word, but the huge smile on her face said it all.
