I am in love with Camille Battaglia’s new book ‘Princess Gabby Girl and the Sparkly Dress’. The book has a great moral lesson for young kids, beautiful illustrations by Karen Wolcott and an entertaining story line.
Camille Battaglia uses a sparkly dress to show how kind words and good deeds affect the dress. When Princess Gabby is kind and does good, her dress sparkles and gleams. When the Princess is grumpy and mean, her dress is dull and plain. This beautiful metaphor shows how kindness makes everything shine brighter. Kids can understand the these moral concepts through the use of a tangible object, the sparkly dress. ‘Princess Gabby and the Sparkly Dress’ introduces a great teaching moment for your young child and uses words and concepts they can understand. I absolutely LOVE this book and I know your child will too. Check out the You Tube trailer for this book and scroll down to enter to win your own copy!
