For the third year, Loessfest returns to Tom Hanafan’s River Edge park in Council Bluffs to kick off the summer! This week long event features FREE concerts, movies, a picnic, golfest and a comedy event. My kids are super excited about Disney Day featuring the Imagination Movers live. Here is the lineup of fun planned for the week of Memorial Day!
May 23 @ 7pm – Chicago performs their classic hits
May 24 @ 8pm – Omaha Symphony & Fireworks
May 25 All Day – Picnic in the Park with an artistic & interactive light show after sunset
May 26 @ 7pm – Second City Comedy Troupe
May 27 @ 9pm – JAWS in the park
May 28 @ 7pm – Live music with Recaptured: A tribute to Journey
May 29 @ 5pm – Disney Day featuring Darth Vader
May 29 @ 7pm – Disney’s Imagination Movers Live
May 29 @ 9pm – Big Hero 6 in the park
May 30 @ 10 am – Bike the Bluffs with a 27-mile bike road around the city
May 30 @ 5pm – Mini Maha featuring several talented, local bands
May 31 All Day – Golf Fest
May 29-30 All Day – Taste of Omaha

Things to note about Loessfest:
All the events are free to attend
There will be food and confessions available, but you can bring your own coolers with non-alcoholic drinks or water
Bring a blanket or lawn chair (just no chairs with shade awnings)
