UPDATE: Monster Jam is returning in 2016 to Council Bluffs Mid America Center on January 9 & 10!
Thursday, my five-year old son and husband went to Monster Jam at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa thanks to U.S. Family Guide and LOVED it! The trucks looked amazing and the stunts were unbelievable. There were a few crashes, but that made the show even more exciting. My son’s favorite truck was Zombie, which even looked like it had brains coming out of the top. My husband’s favorite truck was El Toro Loco, because of the intricate design. There was also some Motorcross and trick bike action during the show. My son was so excited after Monster Jam and I’ve been hearing all the details this weekend. This is an experience he will never forget.

If you decide to go, make sure to wear VERY warm clothing or even bring a blanket, because they open the doors to vent the arena and it’s gets extremely cold. I also highly recommend hearing protection, because it is loud.
