Of the 90 books I read this year, my favorites were from new author Karina Halle. Her Experiment in Terror Series is not my typical genre I read, but it is extremely well written with compelling characters. The books focus on supernatural and the two main characters are ghost hunters.

The first book, Darkhouse (Experiment in Terror #1), is FREE from Amazon and the rest in the series are $2.99 or less. I highly recommend checking out this book if you are looking for a good story. Besides, it’s free, and you just might find a new favorite author, like I did. Many of the books in this series have dozens of reviews and some average a 4.9 star (out of 5) rating on Amazon, so many other readers love this series.
