This weekend we filled a 45-passenger bus from Party Express Bus and toured the Omaha area Christmas light displays with Santa and Mrs Claus! The bus was so much fun! Inside there were neon and strobe lights and plenty of space. Christmas music played for the entire drive and all us were in the Christmas spirit. The driver was great and when we stopped at one of the decorated houses, he would turn off the lights inside the bus, so we could see the decorations better.

The best thing is that the entire family can look at the lights since someone else is driving. It’s always hard when we go as a family and my husband can’t really enjoy the lights because he’s focused on driving. The bus ride itself was smooth, but it you are prone to motion sickness, make sure to take some medicine before you go.

Santa and Mrs Claus were amazing! Kent Dawson has been dressing up as Santa for 16 years and he does a fabulous job! (Note: He is available to hire in the Omaha Metro area.) I loved that when my daughter asked Santa for a Kindle Fire, he explained that electronics can be difficult since the elves use hammers to make the toys. Way to save the parents on that one, Santa!

Overall, this was a great and fun experience! The kids had a blast and I enjoyed letting someone else be navigator and find all the amazing light displays in our area.
