Add More ~ing to Your Life: A Hip Guide to Happiness by Gabrielle Bernstein, QNY, published January12, 2010.

About the book:
“Lots of people are selling happiness these days as if it were a marketable commodity. But in her hip self-transformation book, Add More ~ing to Your Life, motivational speaker and life coach Gabrielle Bernstein truly shows you how to make happiness a way of life. Ms. Bernstein is bringing happy back.

Designed to bulldoze negative thought patterns and create personal change through positive affirmations, physical activity, and visualization meditations, Gabrielle guides the reader to happiness in 30 days through her dynamic ~ing, a proven method of sharpening one’s intuitive senses and activating untapped inspirations.

Gabrielle will prepare you to change your life by accessing a state of flow, helping you connect with your ~ing, your inner guide, and readying you to release your limiting beliefs and to choose happiness.”

My Review:
Add More ~ing to Your Life is a guide to live a happier, more focused life. There was good basic information, but alot of the information I’ve already read in other popular self-help books. I do really like that Bernstein adds physical activity to the happiness equation, because being active is important.

I feel that as a busy mom of two, Bernstein’s happiness method is not completely appropriate for me personally. Adding more ~ing is a process of writing, prayer/meditation and physical activity that can be very time consuming, taking several hours a day. I did, however, take several ideas from the book and implemented them into my daily routine. Add More ~ing to Your Life was not trans formative for me, but I think if I had the opportunity to attend one of Berstein’s lectures or classes it would be a different story.

This is a valuable book if you’re looking to take the time to be more focused and senere or just want to improve a specific aspect of your life. It’s definitely geared towards single Generation Y-ers, but can be useful for anyone seeking this information.

When I read this comment on the site — designed to bulldoze negative thought patterns and create positive change. I know I neeed to have a book or something to help me. I usually do not have a bad attitude about things I just need a back up when there are times that I get down. This book looks like it might be it.

I love the title Adding More Ing and as a writer believe “-ing” makes the present tense more interesting and immediate. Getting insights of ways to take care of yourself and others is important to me.

I have suffered from an anxiety disorder since I was young, w/anxiety comes lots of worrying and negative thoughts. The fact that this book helps change your thinking pattern makes me truly want to own this book. It’s wonderful to have self help books around when you get into a fun or have an anxiety episode. Thank you for the chance to win this book. Jenprincess88 at aol dot com
