I was recently invited to a Verizon store to check out some of their new technology for the Holiday season. I’m always amazed at the incredible technological innovations and ways to make my life easier. If you are still shopping for the holidays, check out my top seven giftable items found at the Verizon store. There is something for everyone on this list!

1. Gizmo Pal 2 & Gizmo Gadget
I talked about the original Gizmo Pal for back to school, but now they have introduced two new, more stylish versions: Gizmo Pal 2 and Gizmo Gadget! These are perfect for kids who aren’t ready for their own phone, but you still want to stay in touch with them. Here’s how they work, you program 2 numbers that kids can call from their watch and up to 10 numbers (only 4 for Gizmo Pal 2) that can call them! The Gizmo Gadget 2 can also send pre-selected text messages to the 2 main numbers and tracks steps. Both devices are just a one time charge for the device and only $5 to connect to your family plan. These watches provide that extra peace of mind for parents.

2. LG Tone Active Wireless Headset
If you are active, the LG Tone Active Wireless Ear Buds are for you. The ear buds retract from the bluetooth base that rests on your neck to create a wireless headphone that is water and sweat resistant. You can also accept calls through these ear buds with a built-in microphone. If you’ve ever tried to run on a treadmill connected by wires to your music player, you know how awesome this new headset is.

3. Fitness Bands
Fitness bands are very popular right now and there are so many options. The new FitBit Charge HR is a best seller with an accurate step counter, heart rate monitor and even caller ID. I personally love the new fashionable designs on the Jawbone UP2 and UP3 fitness trackers. All the fitness bands have different features, but stop by a Verizon store and they will explain it all to you to make the best decision for your fitness (and fashion) needs.

4. FitBit Aria Scale
Loving your FitBit and want to track your progress? Consider the FitBit Aria Wi-Fi smart scale that syncs with your account and shows you your progress over time.

5. JBL speakers
Speakers are huge this year for holiday gifts and there are so many options. The Pulse 2 JBL speakers are awesome with the light effects. There are 6 base colors and you can choose the color combinations that play with your music. How fun!

6. UE Speakers
These are very popular, basic speakers that are water resistant. What’s really fun is that you can hook any two of these speakers together to create a surround sound music effect.

7. Nest home
I introduced you to the Kevo a few months ago and now there are tons of options in the Nest home security line. The Nest temperature control helps cool and heat your house and can sync with your Kevo to lower temps when it detects no one is home. How cool is that? They also offer a Nest CO and smoke alarm detector and a Wi-fi video camera that all connect through your smartphone.
