I love the holiday season – the Christmas parties, enjoying meals with family and friends, and creating memories with my three children. One of our favorite traditions every year is to try all the Hiland Dairy seasonal milks – we love all the unique holiday inspired flavors. This year I decided to make our tradition even more fun and whip up the flavored milk into a homemade 3-ingredient pudding dessert.

We used Hiland Dairy chocolate mint milk in our 3-ingredient pudding. My kids love anything chocolate so I knew this pudding would be a hit. This recipe will work with any of their flavored milks, like sugar cookie, custard, snickerdoodle or strawberry creme flavored milk. View all Hiland Dairy’s flavored milks on their website and try this recipe with your favorite. It’s such an easy recipe, you might even want to make pudding with all the seasonal milks and have a family taste test!

Hiland Dairy flavored milk is creamy allowing for the perfect pudding consistency. It’s just sweet and rich enough that you don’t have to add any extra sugar or flavors. All you need for this recipe is corn starch to thicken the milk, a little salt and your favorite flavored milk.

Simply whisk all the ingredients over heat until it thickens into pudding consistency. Yes, it really is that easy to make homemade pudding! Just be mindful not to overcook. Once the milk starts to thicken, remove immediately from the heat to avoid it sticking to the bottom your pan.

Pour the pudding into individual servings and cover to keep the top from hardening. Let it chill for a few hours in the fridge and then enjoy. I recommend serving within a day for the best quality. Top with whipped topping for a delicious and simple holiday dessert.
