I am going to do an outdoor theme basket for my kids. They are getting a swing set and sand box in the next few weeks so I thought some sand toys would be fun plus they love BUBBLES!

I think theme baskets are great! Just think about what your child likes and build a basket around that. My son has never been a big candy lover, so I would put together a basket with items that were a good fit for him.
