This is one of those recipes that isn’t super fancy. But it’s still really tasty. And with only 3 ingredients, it pulls together really quickly. Add in a pretty short baking time and you’ll have dinner on the table within 25 minutes. It’s a dream for busy families!
How to Make Ham and Cheese Crescent Bake
It’s versatile too. I used ham, but you could use turkey. Or roast beef. I used cheddar cheese, but you could use swiss. Or provolone. Or mozzarella. Or kick it up a notch and use pepper jack! Pick your favorite meat and cheese combination!
This was great for my smaller sized family, so if you have more than four people in your family, I’d double it and use a 9×13 pan.

Love this and so easy.
Yum! This was a quick and easy meal for just myself and my daughter. Not much to it at all. I had to let the rolls bake a bit longer. Next time I will add spinach and olives to it.
Yay!! Glad that it was a keeper for you!
The perfect dinner add some mashed potatoes & green beans a big hit for my kids & grands!
Loved it the first time. This time we are adding some bacon, I precooked along with homemade fries. Easy and so good.

I’m a husband and granddad plan on making for dinner tonight will be good sides !!
Woo Hoo! It is delicious! And incredibly easy!
My message wasn’t right what would be some good sides vegetables green beans asparagus ???
Sure! I admit that I just keep it simple when it comes to sides. Garden salad. Pasta salad. Frozen veggies – steam ’em or roast ’em. They can even bake while the ham & cheese is baking.

I often have fruit salad with it. We are making these for a family gathering today and having fruit, veggies and dip, and chips and dip with them. I’m making a 13×9 of ham and cheddar and a 13×9 of chicken and Muenster. Delicious!
Ooh – Chicken and muenster would be delicious!
Could this be make ahead of time and frozen till ready to eat?
I’d love to say yes, but, to be honest, I’m not sure.
In my opinion, I don’t think it would do that great because of the crescent rolls. I haven’t had much luck freezing casseroles with them, defrosting them and baking them. I don’t think it’s the freezing part that’s so bad, but the defrosting. It just adds too much liquid & time that it changes the consistency of the rolls and it just hasn’t been nearly as good for me.
Never say never though…
I used Swiss cheese and it was delicious.
Can you leave off 2nd layer of cheese?
Sure! It won’t be as cheesy, but it’ll still be good!
I was stuck tonight not knowing what to have for dinner. This with split pea soup, coming right up!
That’s sounds like a delicious combo!
I make this ALL the time and love it! I added it to my blog post of favorite recipes.
Yay!! I’m so glad!
My kid is obsessed. Thanks for sharing!!
