Summer is coming soon and that means kids are home from school, the weather is finally nice and free outdoor movies begin! Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and family to enjoy one of these free movies in the Omaha area. There are some great, recently released movies that the whole family will enjoy.

DETAILS ABOUT THE VENUES

Bellows Community Center at Roberts Park – Located at 1000 N 25th in Council Bluffs, IA. Concessions and raffles available for purchase.

Camp Fontanelle – Located just northwest of Omaha in Fontanelle, NE. Due to copyright issues titles not displayed publicly. Email tmeyer@greatplainsumc.org or call for titles. Donations accepted.

Flix at the Chef – Located behind the Dairy Chef in Elkhorn. Enjoy free complimentary popcorn. You may bring your own food and beverages, but Dairy Chef will have food, drinks and ice cream available for purchase.

LaVista Public Library – All movies will be immediately after a live concert that begins at 7pm. Light refreshments provided.

Monday Night at the Movies at Midtown Crossing – Located at Turner Park in Midtown Crossing. Seating starts at 5pm, movie begins at sunset.

Sumtur Ampitheater – Located in Papillion off 108th St and Hwy 370. No outside food or drinks.

Loessfest – This is a 4-day event over Memorial Day weekend with entertainment for the family located at Tom Hanafan’s River’s Edge Park in Council Bluffs.
