single origin coffee on-the-go

Confession Time: I am a coffee addict. And, by coffee addict, I mean I drink almost a pot of coffee a day and panic if I don’t get my morning cup of joe. (Honestly, it’s recommended not to talk to me until after coffee. Just ask my husband.) So, what happens if I’m separated from my coffee maker? Sheer panic. That’s why I was excited to try Sudden Coffee.

Sudden Coffee is a freeze single origin dried coffee that comes in a tube (keep reading to see WHY single origin coffee is better.) I can keep one of these bad boys in my purse and never worry about being without a coffee fix. Now, I’m going to be completed honest, I’ve tried instant type coffee in the past and I’m not a fan.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I tried Sudden Coffee, but was pleasantly surprised. This smooth single origin Columbian coffee was full of flavors like fresh melon, Juicy Fruit gum and chocolate chip cookies. Who can resist a coffee that tastes like that? I didn’t need to add any flavors or cream. Sudden Coffee is that good.

Best part is it’s super easy to make a cup. Read More…

A few years ago, my husband talked me into a new mattress to replace our decade old one that was not very comfortable. Since I always stress about large purchases, I was reluctant to agree. His argument was that we should spend good money and be comfortable on a place where we spend a third of our life. I caved and agreed to getting a new mattress. He was so right! A quality mattress makes a huge difference in our comfort and sleep.

Now, that I’ve realized the importance of a good mattress, I wanted to upgrade my kid’s mattresses too. Our boys share a room and bunk bed and have been complaining that they aren’t very comfortable at night. The more I researched online for new beds, the more worried I became about the chemicals used in many manufactured mattresses.

I was introduced to LuLaRoe clothing a little over a year ago. I had successfully ignored party invites on Facebook for about six months and then my good friend, Karissa Marks, hosted a party and her mom was the consultant. I decided to support my friend and try out a pair of these leggings so many of my friends were raving about. I figured for $25 I could help my friend earn free stuff for her party and have a new pair of comfortable pants. As luck would have it, I won a free shirt during the party too, so now I had a full outfit.

A few days later, my new LuLaRoe arrived and oh my goodness, I couldn’t believe when I tried them on. I finally understood why my friends were so excited about these clothes. The leggings are amazing, soft and comfortable. And, the obsession began. I ordered a few more pairs and slowly got rid of my jeans. Will you believe, I haven’t worn jeans for almost a year now and I’ve never felt so confident!

Now, my dear friend Karissa, is also a LuLa Roe consultant and I’m so excited to support and share more about her business (LuLaRoe Omaha by Karissa Marks) and why I love LuLaRoe clothing. Read More…

This month: A full-time working mom of 3 boys aged 4 and under. Next month: A stay-at-home mom of 4 boys aged 4 and under, one a newborn. Conclusion: Life can be c-r-a-z-y! I don’t always have the time that I want to get dinner on the table. I don’t always have the energy to prepare the meal that I want. I don’t always have the available hands that I need to prep a meal. I don’t always plan ahead the way that I want. Or sometimes, the meal that I did have planned and started turns out to be a disaster and I need another quick plan. This is (really, it continues to be – just for different reasons) a crazy season of life. How my afternoon and early evenings go isn’t always predictable. Continue Reading…
