Wow – those of us in Nebraska have had a crazy weather swing this past week. Today, when I’m typing this, it was 66 degrees outside. Last week? Kids got a “Cold Day” off of school because it was -20 below! Crazy, isn’t it? I like the snow (most times), but weather that cold? I could do without. It was freezing!
If March is supposed to be “In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb”, I wonder what the end of March will be like? It’s not weather related, but by the end of March, we’ll be starting our Spring sports. That’s our busy season. None my kids do a winter sport, but this Spring we’ll have 2 baseball players and now 1 Lacrosse player – that’s a new one for our family. We’ll see how THAT goes.
I’m still here, menu planning though. Through the cold. And the snow. And the sunshine. And the rain. And anything else the Weather Gods throw my way; I’ll be as prepared as I can be.
