Summer Reading Programs For Kids

It’s summer time and there are some great reading programs to keep your kids busy this summer.

Double Dog Dare from Border’s

  • Kids ages 12 and under
  • Read 10 books by 8/16/2010
  • Fill out this form and return to any Border’s, Border’s Express or Waldenbooks
  • Kids receive choice of one FREE book

Feed Your Brain Summer Reading Program from 1/2 price books

  • Kids ages 14 and under
  • Starts June 1, 2010 and ends July 31, 2010
  • Receive a $3 gift card EVERY week they spend at least 15 minutes a day reading
  • Download reading logs and return to 1/2 price books for FREE gift card

Barnes & Noble 2010 Summer Reading

  • Children in 1st through 6th grade
  • Runs May 25, 2010 to September 6, 1010
  • Fill out the summer reading ‘passport’ and return to any Barnes & Noble location
  • Participants choose one FREE age appropriate book from list

That’s alot of free books for your kids this summer. Don’t forget to check your local library for more great reading programs for kids and teens. Some even have adult reading programs.

    Summer reading programs will help children enjoy while studying. Because of this, they will feel like they are still in school.
