I am excited to announce that John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean, a black-light live puppet show, is coming to Omaha on February 20! ImaginOcean is a magical undersea adventure with three best friends, Tank, Dorsel and Bubbles. The friends find a treasure map that takes them on a fun journey with clues, new friends, song and dance. In the end, they discover the true value of friendship, teamwork and cooperation, a great lesson for all kids.

ImaginOcean Omaha

ImaginOcean uses amazing black-light technology that makes the puppets, props and stage glow! The puppeteers are dressed in black and will be invisible under the ultraviolet lights. How cool is that?

ImaginOcean is perfect for any age, but is geared for pre-school through third grade. I am taking my six-year old son to this performance. He will be amazed with the bright colors and fun music. I can’t wait for our special mommy and son date. This is an amazing show to introduce young kids to live theater in Omaha!

The show’s creator, John Tartaglia, is a Tony Award nominee and has starred in Avenue Q, Broadway productions of Shrek the Musical and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. He is a 12-year veteran of Sesame Street and was one of their youngest puppeteers, starting at just 16 years old.

ImaginOcean will feature dance and lively music, ranging from swing to R&B to Big Band. Just check out the video below to see one of the catchy tunes from this show!
