My husband and I enjoy being active parents and are very involved in our three kid’s activities, school and lives. However, we have to work to support them and pay for all those activities. With my husband’s demanding IT job that means the occasional business trip and time away from the family.

CloudPets Love

A few times a year, my husband will be gone at least a week, and sometimes up to three weeks at a time for business trips. Our kids miss him horribly when he is gone. He also visits his parents in Utah at least once a year. During these extended trips, his hours are very sporadic and that means there are many nights he isn’t able to call before bedtime to wish them ‘Good Night’. Our kids, used to dad tucking them in every night, cry and cry when dad isn’t able to call them and my heart absolutely breaks.

CloudPets

I recently purchased CloudPets™, a new one-of-a-kind product, at Walmart and now he can say ‘Good Night’ anytime using the free app on his phone. I can access the message on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and send it via Bluetooth to the CloudPets™ Bear. My kids LOVE being able to hear dad’s voice and cuddle with the CloudPets™. Even though he can’t be with us, it stills feels like he’s here. And, our kids can play his message over and over again by simply pressing the CloudPets™ paw.

CloudPet Tutorials

The cool thing about CloudPets™ is that when both parents are home to tuck the kids in at night, it’s easy to set it to sing a lullaby of your choice. In fact, using the free app you have complete parental control over the messages and lullabies that the CloudPets™ play. Check out this CloudPets™ Tour to see how it works and the compatible devices. Our 4-year old is in love with the CloudPets™ and the soft cuddly fur. He was born with visual impairments and loves toys that play music and engage both his tactile and auditory senses.

CloudPets Cuddle

CloudPets™ are available in many versions, including Kitty, Bear, Puppy, Bunny or Unicorn at select Walmart stores. Soon, these will be available nationwide at Walmart. If you have multiple kids, it’s easy to use the app to send messages to their individual CloudPets™. Make sure to pick up at least 3 AA batteries for each of your CloudPets™.

I’m looking forward to showing their grandparents how to record messages on the free CloudPets™ app, so the kids can also hear messages from them. One set of grandparents is 13 hours away, so it would be great for them to hear their voices any time they want. I love that the new CloudPets™ can keep the kids in touch with all their loved ones, near and far.

How would CloudPets™ help your kids stay in touch with family?

I’ve seen several devices like this, but none as soft and cuddly as Cloud Pets! I travel for work often too and this would be a great way to stay connected with my toddler twins while I’m gone. I’ll have to keep my eyes out for the bunny!

I wish I would have known about these things before my mother in law passed away. It would have been neat to have her record a message for all the grandkids.

Yes! This would be perfect for a military family and those long deployments.

These are so cute! I know with my husband in the military whether it’s deployment or an extended training trip we could definitely benefit from this. My youngest always has a hard time coping with her emotions when she’s missing him and I think having something tangible like this would help her a lot. Thanks so much for linking up to the Sunshine Life Link Up!
