These little ranch snack crackers are great for bringing to a potluck or a football party. Maybe for the Day-After-Thanksgiving when you’re watching the Huskers play? Or, at your holiday table as an appetizer while the main dish is cooking? Or, New Year’s Eve when you’re ringing in the new year?

I like them because they make a lot, so you always have plenty. And, because they keep so well in plastic storage containers. You can even make them 2, 3 or 4 days ahead of your event because while they’re great warm, they’re just as good served at room temperature!

How to Make Ranch Snack Crackers

This recipe couldn’t be easier. Gently coat the crackers with vegetable oil, dill, lemon pepper, garlic and a package of ranch seasoning (or make your own ranch seasoning with a few simple ingredients.) Then, place on a single layer on a cookie sheet. Depending on the size of your cookie sheet, you may need to use two cookie sheets or do two batches. Bake at 250°F for about 15-20 minutes or until they are slightly brown.

Remove from oven and let cool. They are delicious serve warmed, but also taste great at room temperature. To store, place in an airtight container once the crackers are completely cooled. Enjoy within a week for best flavor and quality. Give this recipe a try for an easy and delicious snack!

  • 24-32 ounces of oyster crackers (2 bags usually is enough)
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp lemon pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pkg. ranch dip

  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Mix all ingredents carefully in a large bowl until crackers are completely covered.
  • Spread evenly on a cookie sheet. (I usually use two so that they aren’t too crowded.)
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes at 250°F until crackers are slightly brown. Enjoy!
