What is World Book Day?
World Book Day is an annual event on April 23 to inspire and encourage people to read. It was originally created by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1995. Today over 100 countries around the world celebrate World Book Day to promote literacy and the joy of reading.
